Senior backend engineering for systems that demand performance, scalability
About
I'm Vinicius T. Werneck, a developer specialized in PHP and Laravel, with over two decades of experience turning complex business rules into robust, scalable systems. My career has been built working directly in production environments, facing real challenges in performance, integration and maintenance of enterprise applications.
Over the years I have developed solutions for logistics, process automation, APIs, cross-platform integrations and management systems. I have an analytical profile, business vision and strong concern for code quality, stability and value delivery.
WerneckLab is the reflection of my technical curiosity. Here I concentrate personal projects, research and experiments involving Artificial Intelligence, Laravel, databases, software architecture and new technologies. More than a portfolio, this space represents my way of learning, testing ideas and continuously evolving as a professional.
Laravel Ecosystem
Documented structures focused on system integration and the extreme versatility of Laravel in solving complex technical challenges.
CEP lookup system built with Laravel, featuring a parallelized geo-analytical pipeline ingesting 5+ heterogeneous data sources in real-time.
Context
Engineering Challenge: Geo-analytical pipeline ingesting data from 5+ heterogeneous sources (OSM, ViaCEP, IBGE, climate APIs) with real-time enrichment. 42 local entities injected per query — all under 5-second total response SLA.
Features
Engineering: Parallelized context gathering mesh with timeout-controlled agent execution. Redis-backed response caching for high-request CEPs (92% cache hit rate). Integrity Sentinel auto-healing pipeline that re-hydrates incomplete data without user-facing errors.
AI agent orchestration platform with Laravel, using multiple models, persistent memory and real-time distributed system integration.
Context
Engineering Challenge: Orchestrating 6+ AI agents with sub-second failover across 4 LLM providers. Persistent vector memory processing 1k+ semantic queries/day without MySQL read degradation.
Features
Engineering: LLM Cascade routing with automatic failover (deep health-check on every request). Vector memory layer with 94% relevance accuracy. Queue-isolated agent execution preventing provider latency from blocking main request thread.
Platform for running classic Atari 2600 games via the browser, with an optimized asset pipeline engineered for traffic surges.
Context
Engineering Challenge: Traffic spikes from 200 to 50k+ daily visits after internationalization. Shared hosting environment demanded sub-100ms asset delivery with minimal memory footprint.
Features
Engineering: Custom asset pipeline with aggressive ROM caching, Brotli compression (73% bandwidth reduction), and lazy-loading catalog pagination. Zero-downtime during traffic spikes — sustained 50k req/day on a single $10 droplet.
Preservation platform for classic Brazilian radio stations, organized as a digital archive with continuous playback of historical content under Laravel architecture.
Context
Context: Rescuing historical content and preserving the identity of traditional Brazilian radio stations on a digital scale.
Features
Features: Continuous streaming and curation of a historical digital archive orchestrated by the framework.
Continuous music streaming platform via the web, focused on performance, stable playback and a simplified experience for online audio consumption.
Context
Context: Replicating the experience of a traditional radio station in the digital environment without friction.
Features
Features: Low-latency continuous streaming and high-performance minimalist interface.
Web portal specialized in automotive content, with an SEO-optimized structure, technical information organization and high-performance MySQL queries.
Context
Context: Centralizing technical support and practical information for vehicle owners into a scalable knowledge base.
Features

PHP CLI tool for managing Apache/Nginx virtual hosts with a simplified command-line interface.
Context
Context: Manual virtual host management in development and production environments, requiring repetitive configuration file editing.
Features
Features: Intuitive CLI with pre-configured templates, Apache and Nginx support, quick enable/disable of hosts and automated configuration generation.
Cross-platform .NET/Avalonia desktop toolkit for Laravel ecosystem productivity with 12 integrated plugins.
Context
Engineering Challenge: Building a native cross-platform desktop application (.NET/Avalonia) capable of centralizing 12+ daily Laravel tools (Artisan, Composer, routes, migrations, logs, database) into a single cohesive interface with plugin architecture.
Features
Engineering: Modular plugin-based architecture with Reflection-based DI. MVVM with Avalonia UI for native interface without Electron. 12 functional plugins communicating via ProjectContext singleton and async ProcessRunner.
